Heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States, takes the lives of about 2,500 Americans each day. The killer disease is so prevalent that it’s responsible for 40 percent of U.S. deaths, killing more people than all forms of cancer combined, according to the Mayo Clinic.
While heart disease is often serious, the good news it that you may have more control over your heart disease risk than not. In fact, while a family history or advancing age are known risk factors that you can’t control, there are mulptiple heart diseases risk factors that are completely within your power to influence.
Dr. Bastomski’s Comments:
Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans so the more you know about this topic, the more likely you or a loved one will benefit. If you are relying solely on the current medical model for the treatment of heart and cardiovascular disease, you are likely missing out on some important therapeutics.
The article discusses one alternative treatment – IV chelation therapy – and I want my readers to know that while IV chelation can be quite beneficial, a much less expensive way to take EDTA chelation is via a suppository. It is not that bad. Just insert before you go to bed and let the body detox away during the night. Far less expensive and time consuming and studies comparing the two approaches find it to be reasonably competitive. It btw, is a preferred method of usage for men with prostate issues. One uses them about three times per week for about three months.
There are also some oral chelating products that can be helpful but their efficacy is significantly less than the suppository or IV route.
Along with chelation therapy, one should obviously be on a good diet as well as on some appropriate supplements, some of which are listed in the article.
If you would like to discuss this further please email me or contact my office at 805-569-5000 to schedule an appointment.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bastomski
